Dear Frank & Anne & Family

            I am sorry I did not write you sooner but, I have been very busy getting myself fit for the big moment which I hope wont be very far off.

            I expect you no that Michael was reported missing in Malay but I have a feeling that he is OK as some of the boys that escaped say that the majority of the boys are prisoners & I no that he could, hardly have been more than Six days their, thy also say the that Japs are treating our lad pretty good, so, at least that’s something.

            How are all you people doing & you might tell James & Margaret
