as a instructor on Gunnery and they went there but I think that he will be all right as he is with some good lads. Mother doesn’t no yet as I keep telling her that the communications are pretty bad and they are some times three or four month late, so we will have to hurry up and get it back so they can get home.

 

            Mother & Father are well just now.  They had four Irish men billeted on them & I went on leave so at night they started discussing the war and one of them said that he did not care who won as long as he could get work so I am afraid that I got me down as they had come over to work and were getting about £8 a week and they had the nerve to say that so thank God I come from
